As the global maritime community gathered in Greece for Posidonia 2026, LALIZAS hosted the Ship Chandlers & Service Providers Summit 2026 on Monday, June 1.
The 2026 edition marked the first time the event was held at the company's new headquarters, the LALIZAS Port, in Piraeus, welcoming partners from Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Greece, India, the UK, Lithuania, Malta, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, the United States and Venezuela, highlighting the truly global reach of the LALIZAS network.

The Summit was full of insightful presentations by LALIZAS experts, leading to constructive conversations on safety products & services and future collaboration opportunities. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore our new facilities and were also among the first to visit the new LALIZAS Museum, which showcases more than 40 years of the company’s journey, growth, and contribution to maritime safety, since its founding in 1982. In addition, participants received a copy of our recently published book, From Ashes to Rebirth, which captures stories and defining moments that shaped LALIZAS, through the narration of Mr. Stavros Lalizas.
The Summit also marked a significant milestone for the LALIZAS Group: ATIVA NÁUTICA, Brazil’s leading lifejacket manufacturer, formalised a strategic partnership with ABFN (Associação Brasileira de Fornecedores e Serviços a Navios) - a step that reinforces our commitment to building strong, lasting partnerships across key maritime markets worldwide.
